For the first time, we will offer a $500 Mission 22Q Dragonfly Forest Scholarship for the summer camp in Valley Forge, Pennsylvania.
Dragonfly Forest Inc. is a 501 (c)(3) not-for-profit organization that is committed to offering a year-round camp experience that allows children with autism and other medical needs the opportunity to have fun and just be kids in a safe and loving environment. The free camps, which are July 5-10 for ages 7-14 and July 13-18 for ages 13-20, provide a residential program for kids with autism, 22Q deletion, sickle cell disease, bleeding disorders and persistent asthma.
To be eligible for this scholarship that will assist with family travel expenses, you must meet the following criteria:
*Have a child who has been diagnosed with 22Q Deletion Syndrome and be a Mission 22Q group member.
*Child must be accepted to attend Dragonfly Forest (proof of acceptance required).
*Complete scholarship application.
*Write a 200-word essay on how the Dragonfly Forest Summer Camp program will benefit your child.

The purpose of Mission 22Q is to educate, support and empower the individual, family, medical and educational communities regarding 22Q Deletion Syndrome. Mission 22Q is a support group and non-profit foundation dedicated to making life better for people affected by 22Q Deletion Syndrome by educating the world.
